So in the age of Facebook, Myspace and Twitter I thought id post and comment on this funny article I happened to come upon on Yahoo .Basically a woman in the U.S issued a restraining order on another woman because she "poked" her ( Poking is basically the facebook way of saying "hey whats up")
What I wanna know is why? Why would any court issue a restraining order because of virtual poke?
There has to be a resaonable explanation for this , but I guess in the age we live in even online poking someone is seen and acceptable as "harassment" I wonder whats next?
What are your thoughts on this?
I as a regular facebook user think its ridiculous and hilarious at the same time..
Here's the article

I think that the same rules apply as in real life. You do not feel close enough to everyone to be "poked" :) I have not heard about that particular case. However, in general, I think that there are people out there who are just plain confrontational and they will use any opportunity to draw attention to themselves, even if it is as ridiculous as issuing restraining order over FB poke :)
